Come on now, don't go down that road.. :) Yes a MP3 sampled at 128 you can EASILY tell the difference. Bump the sampling rate to 256 (using a GOOD encoder) and I would be VERY HARD PRESSED to find anyone who could tell the difference between a CD and an MP3.
