That the ends often do not justify the means. That he was a zealot, and did a lot of damage to his country. That a person with a little less zeal could have accomplished his goals better. That he is further proof that power corrupts. That he abused his authority. That he had no compassion or feeling for the lives he wrongly destroyed. That he would have been welcomed into the current Bush administration (imagine what he could have done with the mantra of "terrorists"). That he gave us a shining example of why there are good reasons to not trust our elected officials blindly.
I too detest communism. And most socialism. I am mostly for capitalism (but do think it needs to be reigned in at times). But I do fervently hope our country never produces another like him.
