I have a LeadTek WinFast TV Deluxe. I like it but I recommend NOT
getting it because it only works with the software it came with. If
you want to use any of the great 3rd party options like MythTV
(free/linux) or SnapStream (commercial with a good following/windows),
then you need a card that uses one of the standard supported chipsets.

Supported cards:

http://www.mythtv.org/docs/mythtv-HOWTO-3.html#ss3.1

A lot of what card you pick will depend on what type of TV signal you
want to record. Analog cable, analog over the air, digital over the
air, digital cable, etc. I saw that a tv card that supports CableCard
(for digital cable) will be out later this year.
