I've noticed, over the years, that if you turn in as many spammers as you can, the amount of spam you get drops greatly. I guess an E-mail address starts getting dropped off of lists as someone who's more trouble than they worth to keep spamming. I've also notcied that it you stop turning them in, your spam level starts to increase again. When I worked for an ISP, I would get abobout 15 - 20 a day. I finaly got annoyed and started turning in as many as I could. Within a few months, my spams dropped to about 3-4 a day. After a while, I got lazy and stopped reporting abuses. My spam level started incresing. I ignored it for a while, until the original spam level was surpassed. Finally, I decided enough was enough and started reporting spammers again. Since then, my spam has been on a slow decline :) Todd ----- Todd for President Nuking spammers, for a better tomorrow. ----- Original Message ----- From: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "CF-Community" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Monday, January 21, 2002 7:36 PM Subject: RE: How much are you worth? > Me: $2,035,264.00, which is about $200,000 above the male average -- not > bad. > > I would be curious about the calculation ... how they arrive at that figure > ..
