I don't really know yet. In theory, I want to be able to do various
things with this. I don't plan on keeping a lot yet, and as time goes by
I will be able to add more storage.

I want to have one server that is media storage, it will have a DVD
burner for dumping things off that I want to keep, but will also serve
as PVR storage, as well as archived video for streaming.

I want the ability to record HDTV across the network, I can offload the
files to slower bigger storage if I want to keep them longer.

My plan is at some point to get a good deal on some low end SAN
equipment, but I'm still waiting for that.
