I don't really know yet. In theory, I want to be able to do various things with this. I don't plan on keeping a lot yet, and as time goes by I will be able to add more storage.
I want to have one server that is media storage, it will have a DVD burner for dumping things off that I want to keep, but will also serve as PVR storage, as well as archived video for streaming. I want the ability to record HDTV across the network, I can offload the files to slower bigger storage if I want to keep them longer. My plan is at some point to get a good deal on some low end SAN equipment, but I'm still waiting for that. > -----Original Message----- > From: Kevin Graeme [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: Friday, March 10, 2006 4:07 PM > To: CF-Community > Subject: Re: Mac Mini beats Media Center PC's. > > What rate of video are you planning on storing?
