Lack of Networking is insane.  For another few bucks they could have added a
ton of new bullet points just by adding a 10/100 jack (back up, portable
storage, etc).

The only thing I'd worry about (if you're interested in buying and not just
the form factor) is what it plays.

My AvelLink networked DVD player plays just about anything I throw at it.
The Buffalo device I tried before it (nominally the "same thing") puked on
most of my collection.

On paper the format support for the device looks great (the only thing I'd
miss is WMV playback).  If you can find a review to back it up it sounds
more than worth it.

I'd also look for confirmation on the ports - I THINK those are component
jacks on the back but it would be nice to be sure.  If they are it would
also be nice to know if the device can handle HD-quality signals (perhaps
even upscale to them).
