Is there a way using those 2 that you can push only selected files To a public site?

But then I want to push those files to the prod server which is an FTP site. Prod site would be like www.mysite.com Now is DW, I have the site configured as MySiteDev which does only LOCAL. and the Prod server established without doing an automatic update. Thus when I am ready I can do a Site Compare ( edit : select : newer local ) and then determine which files to push to the Prod server.
