> "Everybody knows heavy metal bands are all neo-Nazis who admire > Hitler!"
I thought it was a comparison of the author to Hitler or Nazis for the author's views upon the particular subject or thread, a la: "Tony is much like the Nazis in requiring hard driving music to accompany his daily tasks" or "Greg is akin to Hitler for suggesting that a new thread be started, when changing subjects in the middle." Is that closer? ;-P -- will Yeah your examples are better will. I was to rushed to put the required thought into mine.
