Yup. I've been enjoying the spat between Scientific American and the administration. Of course there's this famous editorial: http://www.sciam.com/article.cfm?chanID=sa004&articleID=0001E02A-A14A-1084-983483414B7F0000 Or how in 2001, in conjunction with the University of Louisana, Scientific American Predicted "The Drowning of New Orleans". Yet, defending the U.S. government's response to Hurricane Katrina, Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff argued that government planners did not predict such a disaster ever could occur. Well, yeah, maybe not the morons he's talking too. Just every other person who's remotely considered the issue. Very similar to Iraq policy or budget deficits that "don't matter". ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:201074 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
