Yup.  I've been enjoying the spat between Scientific American and the
administration.  Of course there's this famous editorial:

Or how in 2001, in conjunction with the University of Louisana,
Scientific American Predicted "The Drowning of New Orleans".  Yet,
defending the U.S. government's response to Hurricane Katrina,
Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff argued that government
planners did not predict such a disaster ever could occur.

Well, yeah, maybe not the morons he's talking too.  Just every other
person who's remotely considered the issue.  Very similar to Iraq
policy or budget deficits that "don't matter".
