Around here (I only speak from personal experience) the SBs tend to 
preach that alcohol leads to other sinful acts -- fornication is usually 
used as an example.  They tend to be somewhat nonspecific, but generally 
feel that if you loosen up a bit, you might do something disgraceful.

Please note that I'm speaking of the really uptight ones -- the ones 
that tend to be the loudest.  Most of them don't really care one way or 
another, but also don't care to get in an argument with the more 
fanatical members.  So, as always, a few crazy apples spoil the bunch.
