Actually, I do have to thank Graffy for one reason. His first inning
homer of the Spring Training game (sox/phils on 3/26) was the only
interesting thing happen during the game.
If Graffy can duplicate his #'s with the sox from last year, he'll
easily win the 2nd base job full-time, bye bye Loretta. The glove's
still not there, but he could be a nice table setter in the 2 hole.

The 'brawl' (Beckett/Howard) was stupid. Now the Tavarez-Gaithright
brawl yesterday looked 100 times more interesting.

I had lousy 'seats' at the phils game and not too many regulars played,
but my 2 year old enjoy playing on the berm grass, so that made it worth
it.

I never liked Tavarez, and have no idea what the sox were thinking in
signing him. He's a hot-head, can't control his temper, and quite
frankily is just a mediocre pitcher. Perhaps the sox owed him some
money for allowing Bellhorn to take him deep in Game 1 of the 04 WS.

I thought one of the big goals this offseason was to sign Big Papi to a
longer term deal, what ever happened to that shiznit??? If they let
that guy walk, they are truly idiots, and not the good kind.

Thanks for the sox news/rumors!
Brian
