Not quite right, IMHO.  There's a narrow strip of North Georgia in which 
they grow pee-cans.  Here is where you go if you want ingredients for 
pee-can pie.  But you're right, everywhere else they're peck-ons or 
peh-khans.  And there's nothing wrong with a pecan pie instead.
