Some translations of the latin on the door. Many of these are common
phrases with accepted meanings. Starting at the top and going
anti-clockwise.

Sursum Corda - "Raise your hearts." [Intoned at Eucharist Mass]

Cadeceus - derived from the Greek symbol for Hermes most often used
now as a medical symbol

Aegrescit medendo - It becomes worse with the medicine. "The cure is
worse than the disease". Interestingly on the other map I posted, they
incorrectly wrote it as Aeg Exit Montando which could be translated
from italian, but I'm sure they're wrong.

Mallum consillium quad mutari non potest - "It's a bad plan that can't
be changed."

Cerbereus - 3 headed dog guarding hell

Cogito Ergo Doleo - "I think, therefore I'm depressed." Strangely
enough, on the other map it's listed as Doteo, not Doleo, which would
translate as "I think, therefore I'm rich." But so far, these are all
well known latin phrases and the "rich" version isn't.

Ut sit magna, tamen certe lenta ira decorum est - This doesn't appear
to be a really common latin phrase. My extremely rough, off the cuff
translation is something like "While in this great place, [yet
struggle bend anger] is with grace." Yeah, really rough. And this is
the survivor's beach site! So important to figure this one out.

Liberte te ex infernus - Free yourself from Hell.

Hic sunt dracones - "Here there be dragons" Classic maritime notation.

Credo nos in fluctu eodem esse - "I think we're on the same wavelength."

And in the middle core of the octagon:

Nil actum reputa si quid superest agendum - "Don't consider that
anything has been done if anything is left to be done."

Some really interesting stuff here to consider.
