you know, Tim, I was just thinking. The heck with the psych clinic I was talking about -- a general practitioner can write you a prescription for this stuff. Sometimes they don't want to because of the side effects they are not trained for, but just about any medical professional is going to understand that this situation is not good. I understand you say you don't want SSRIs again, and I don't blame you -- I steadfastly refused them when I was on interferon, even though they really push them when you take that stuff. But there are other medications you could take that are not SSRIs. IANAP but I am thinking maybe Wellbutrin or an anti-anxiety drug to take the edge off the withdrawal.
So... I guess I want to reiterate that I am concerned. It does get better. But why suffer through it without an Rx? That's what Rx's are for... >I can't get anymore. > >I have made my job aware of what's going on, and they are being very >supportive, as is my wife, now that she realizes just how seriously fucked >up I am. > >I mean, I have had bad dreams and shit for years, but like to days ago I >woke up bawling uncontrollably.
