Good point.  People still make the old SGML joke:

SGML = Sounds Good, Maybe Later.

Basically somebody took the complexity out of SGML, rebranded it, and
now suddenly it's a must have.  But really, it's the same old
technology.

Reminds me of the old Russian saying, "that which is new, is something
old, but long forgotten" - but now I'm getting too squirrely so I need
to chug a beer and watch some sports.
