So I've been listening to all of the talk radio and, of course, they're covering this story. The really scary part for me is that the Conservative side has this implicit trust of the police - suggesting, for example, that the old man deserved to be roughed up, and the police must of been right. Now, maybe the guy was belligerent and needed to have some sense knocked into him - probably. But why do the callers, etc have this implicit trust of government and assume that there's no way the police were in the wrong? That's disturbing. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:203093 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
