I understand them, I just think they're boring to watch.  Playing them
is fine, but watching a bunch of millionaires chase a ball doesn't do
it for me.

And listening to them talk about it is downright shocking: "Well, to
win, we have to score more points than our opponents.  And we didn't
do that today."

I think those that agree with me, but still want to watch, become
gamblers.  They try to put something on the line to infuse the
otherwise boring game with some excitement.
