Scientists have discovered evidence that the resurrection of Christ
may in fact be the earliest recorded incident of human cloning! :)

I don't think it had anything to do with puffer-fish. :P

I think we just need stories... why do they have to be anything more
than that? That's what I don't understand. I don't get why people need
these things to have been actual events. Why? What difference does it
make? If you find that the stories inspire or inform your own life in
a way that's helpful to you, then there's no need for them to be
factual. Really, seriously, the only thing their being factual affects
is conversion, which imo isn't really laudable to begin with. Say "you
should strive to treat others well, and these stories helped me learn
how to do that", or say "I'm trying to help save you from eternal
torment, because unless you accept my god you're doomed". Which of
these is more laudable? None of the miracles in the bible speak to the
former, they all speak to the latter. It's always "you should believe
in Jesus because he performed miracles!" ... So did Heracles. The
difference is nobody's telling me I'm gonna go to hell if I don't
accept the miracles Heracles performed as fact.
