But... What if it's (say) a Catholic school? Theoretically, shouldn't
all pupils be Catholic, so therefore they SHOULD be taught Prayer... Or
am I wrong in this?

Personally I'm not religious, but if you go to a religious school, then
you should have to live with their edicts - shouldn't you?

I'm personally against a normal school forcing religious education on
pupils, especially a multi-ethnic school - I was brought up as a
Baptist, so I know some biblical stuff, but I HATED that I was forced to
read Church of England stuff at school - RE was a required subject until
age 13, and this from a normal school... Can you imagine a Muslim child
being forced into this - isn't it a breach of civil liberties?
