What's actually funny is that on a cablemodem connection you can still connect over Telnet... everything that I'm working with either has a mod to make Telnet work or has telnet built in. The really cool thing is that with the software I'm using it's about the same as being a micro-isp, with news, and mail services. I'm actually working on a door that will let users access a shell menu to get to IRC and Lynx for WWW.
