So who gets funding to be a candidate? Anyone? What qualifications do they
need? None? Then I would like to declare my permanent candidacy for the
Presidency of the United States. I don't actually mean to win, I just want
to "make a statement". A big, seven figure statement on my tax return every
four years because the government is paying me to run for office.
