I was working on the lists from 8pm sat night to about 8am Sunday morning due to some mail problems that left a few hundred thousand error messages in my box. This is what slowed down the mail which I fixed. Yeh, I was offline for 3 days due to holiday.
That being said, I missed this entire thread and I'll have to read it to ask that people have a cool head. But as a preliminary based on the topic: The book Starship Troopers spoke of a future where the only ones who could vote and have certain privileges where those who had some form of military service. The government of Israel which is surrounded by enemies and has never been at peace in 3,000 years has mandatory conscription with Torah study as the only deferment. The more I see some of the young punks in the streets and schools, the more I think they need the discipline that the liberal establishment prevents parents from applying to their children. I'm not saying that the kids should be shipped off to war but a few months in a 'summer training camp' would do wonders. Especially for the wild animals I see walking, screaming and cursing past my house just about every day. But that's just my feelings without reading the thread.
