I'm sure their fortunes have grown at quite a good clip. My economy observations would be the obvious: runaway spending and a middle class who is borrowing more, spending more, and, due to the national debt, poorer than ever. It's always been the ultimate political suck-up strategy: you cut taxes and raise spending. It makes everybody happy in the short term, and some VERY unhappy in the long term.
