It's all about the economics. It makes no sense whatsoever to provide the
ethanol industry with subsidies. If they can produce the product and sell it
for a profit, that's fine. If they can't, too bad. When gas goes to
$5/gallon, you bet they'll be producing ethanol as fast as they can, and
more power to them. But not on my nickel.
