To that end, amusing Kansas religious-nut antecdote: The kansas school board was touring an elementary school somewhere in the state, don't remember where, when they came across a biology classroom. The head religious nut on the board, the truly evil Connie Francis, ducks her head in to see what heathenry the students are learning...and there, posted on the wall of the classroom, with it's noodly appendages wailing about....was the almighty Flying Spaghetti Monster!!! Well Connie the Pious flew into a rage
I chatted with the head intellectual on the board about it a few days later and she said it was absolutely hilarious to witness!
