I've been doing a lot javascript work lately and finally got tired of the
regular javascript console in firefox....if you've got gmail running on
another tab, you know what I mean. Anyway, I found firebug for firefox.
This thing allows you to specify to get only messages from from the current
domain, display or not display js, css, or xml messages. It also has a
live DOM inspector built in which seems a lot more responsive than the stock
one. But the beauty of this thing shines with xmlhttprequest stuff. You
can inspect each request, and it gives you separate tabs for the post,
response and headers for each.

Awesome tool!
