Violence comes from within. I don't remember learning about violence in church. Religion won't insure anybody's behavior. You have to make a conscience decission to change, a conscience decission to commit violence or not. Praying at the beginning and end of the school day - what a great way to guide our children in the right direction.
I remember the days in high school when our coach would lead us all in the lords prayer before a football game. Then, after the national anthem played, someone from the crowd would lead the entire stadium in prayer, over the pa system. This was all done at a public school. Funny, I don't remember to much violence back then. Which religion to you think would prevent violence? I mean, since they are all so peace loving, and non-violent, I'd be hard pressed to determine which one we should force on the children to insure their behavior. ______________________________________________________________________ Get the mailserver that powers this list at http://www.coolfusion.com Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/index.cfm?sidebar=lists
