we had no home phone until vonage came along, and for 25 a month, who cares, why not. but id MUCH rather just have a cellphone than a home landline. no need. none, whatsoever.
and yeah, i know 2 phone geeks, and too many non-geeks. we keep it in our pockets, on vibrate, and answer only when its needed... other than that... ill see that you called, dont leave me a message, ill probably not listen to it, just seeing that you called, is message enough. and no, i dont leave voice mail very often. its pointless, since people dont listen anyway, and you end up saying the same thing over again when the call actually happens :) tw On 4/27/06, G <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > 1. i speak quietly, away from people, and handle things in minute or > > shorter calls > > 2. if you have the data cable for your cellphone, you might be a phone > > geek. > > 3. if you have a leather protector on your cellphone and its on your > > belt, you might be a phone geek > > 4. if you have an ear bud (or god forbid a bluetooth appliance) in > > your ear more than not in your ear, you might be a phone geek > > 5. if you have a bluetooth appliance in your ear, while in a > > restaurant, on a thursday night, and you are not a hooker, you might > > be a phone geek. > > > > make sense? > > > > Perfect sense.
