True, but keep in mind most of them use the Toyota parts. I am pretty sure
the Ford Escape does.

I know the mechanic costs are higher, but I don't know by how much. In 10
years I'm sure they made a lot of changes, and improvements.

Of course, after I did the math, it just wasn't economical for us to get the
hybrid.
