Where do I go to turn off the upload related files? Where do I go to tell it to stop showing me the background file activity window? (Shouldn't the background file activity be in the background? Clicking hide and having it just minimize is not my idea of background. Why not just show a real FTP log with the commands sent to the server. That would tell me a lot more.)
Where do I go to fix the fact that if I don't have any ftp activity for like 2 minutes then I have to wait for it to time iteself out till it realizes that it isn't connected to an ftp server anymore. (changing the timeout option in the settings doesn't work, it only times out a single request. After a failed request is when I have to wait for about a minute or two until I can connect again) I think dreamweaver would be just fine if it didn't take me 5 minutes to make a change to a file. Oh yeah and javascript errors crashing it when I try to save a file is also really annoying when I loose what I have been working on for the last 10 minutes. Oh and how do I tell it to speed up, can I tell it to just not load most of it's bloat and scripting. This wasn't sarcastic. If you really have an answer to any of this I would love to know. Oh and I also miss studio/homesite's ctrl-j feature. Much better way for a coder to use snippets. Anything that forces me to move my hands from the keyboard when I am coding is too bothersome.
