Gosh Sam, after the voter has proved that he or she is eligible to vote because they know which candidate they're going to vote for, well what then? Maybe we could ask if they own property? If so, how much? Did you inherit it? or "earn" it? do you use it wisely? How about if they are educated to a certain standard? High school diploma? GED? college education? Oh, wait, too much college and people start getting "intellectual" and then they become the, gasp, liberal elite... Then maybe we could go by religious affiliation, and maybe if their "church" is righteous enough or believes in a good with the right number of noodley appendages, then maybe, just maybe we can let them vote. Or perhaps, we should try to determine, based on how they look; whether their hair is combed or cut right or maybe whether they are clean-shaven or maybe by the color of their shirt whether or not we think that they may be able to make the "correct" choice in the voting booth. Are they loyal 'enough'? Are they subversives? Traitors perhaps? Can you tell by looking? Maybe we can! Maybe somebody might have possible smoked a little weed in college, what about him? I don't think you've thought your system of qualifications through Sam. Perhaps we should just ban all those folks that don't think _your_ candidate is the right man for the job. Voting Station personnel: Voting Republican today? Voter #1: yes, of course! Voting Station personnel: Excellent choice, here is your premarked ballot. Voting Station personnel: Voting Republican today? Voter #2: No, actually, I thought I'd vote my conscience. Voting Station personnel: Ah, through that door, line on the left, one cross each. .... After all this is America, if you're not with us, you're with the terrorists.
