Great Points. I have no problems in talking the talk and walking the
Walk. I have discussed things in a meeting before but usually among
Co-workers and a PM or 2. Not to the Board.

Thanks!

Did whoever that asked you for the Board preez see the original? If so,
did they seem to want the same thing or do they want something that's
more executive consumable? If they want the same, then just do the same
preez.

If not, well, of course all of this is highly dependent on the
personalities and subject matter, but some of the rules of thumb are:

1.) Keep It Simple! Use as few words as possible, pictures are
preferred and simple ones at that. Talk to any complexity - DON'T PUT
IT IN THE PREEZ. And bring copies for everyone (color). Simple,
simple, simple, keep it simple, simple, simple.

2.) Hit the key points and stay out of the weeds on the details. But be
ready to "deep dive" on any single piece in your preez! If you can't
deep dive on something exclude it. Most execs will ask any and
everything and pick apart something if you show weakness in an area.

3.) If you do need to use text, use bullets, preferable in the "MECE"
format which means 3 (max 5) that are mutually exclusive and
collectively exhaustive.

Other tips are:

* Shift your eye contact every 10 seconds or so and circle the room.

* Speak to them or they'll tune out. Don't speak monotone. Make sure
to introduce yourself and explain quickly and simply why you're there
and what you're going to display/prove.

* Try not to say, "I don't know". Instead say, "it's unclear" or "I'll
get/I can get that answer for you immediately following this preez"
