This is the first year I haven't watched it, but I did catch the last few minutes of the finale last night just because there was nothing else on to watch. Taylor didn't empress me much. Katherine had a strong, trained voice but not so much stage presence. I still think Kelly Clarkston is the best of all the winners so far, although Carrie Underwood is tearing up the Country charts with her Jesus music, and she's got a decent voice. I was really glad she didn't win best female vocalist at the ACM awards the other night though, cause no way she can out sing Sara or Martina.
