I'm all for accurate labeling.  I think some progress could definitely
be made here.  It doesn't take a rocket scientist to understand a food
label, but it does take more effort than most people are willing to
put forth (me included).

I actually think this is where some weight management programs are
great, giving "points" to certain foods to help you understand in
*very* simple terms what you are eating and what effect it's likely to
have on your weight.
