Unfortunately I didn't have that option as I was trying to move my stuff out
into a storage unit by myself, and clean the place up again, by myself. Plus
take care of two cats and try to have some sort of semblance of life.

usually it's best when the owner isn't there.  The perspective buyer
is better able to analyze the house.  The don't feel like they're
intruding on the owner.  The can get a better feel of how it would be
like for this house to be theirs.
