Why? You can't torture him, you can't execute him without a trial, in which he'd never cooperate. It would make the Saddam trial look like a walk in the park. It would be such a long, drawn out pain in the ass, and in the end, if he got the death penalty, he'd just be a martyr who frustrated the world just a little bit longer.
