on the way to work yesterday, my truck started bogging down going up a hill...it dropped to 50mph and wouldn't go any faster. Felt very reminiscent of whenever my fuel filter got clogged back in december. Replaced it last night and cut it open this morning and this is the result:

That's a pretty crappy design if it's going to collapse like that. On a related note, I was able to get 3 replacement filters (fuel, oil, & spin-on tranny) at the *dealership* for half the cost of the local autozone, o'reilly's, and napa. The parts guy accidentally quoted me the wholesale price.
