grrrr rufff rufff
grrrrr ruff!

^_^

I know, I was just saying that it was a bad call that second yellow.
The first...well that card was warranted. Someone needs to sit him
down and have a little talk with him.
Silly wild and most definitely desperate tackle.

That card on Dwight though.

It seems that there is some new rule which the referees have been told
to enforce. Yesterday it happened in the Argentina-Ivory Coast game as
well and it looked just as unbelievable that a card was given.

It seems that you have to get away from the ball at an inhuman pace
when a free kick is called if you are on the opposing team, otherwise
if you are near when the player begins to kick the ball you can be
given a yellow card.

I can see that it may be meant to allow the side given the free kick
an advantage if they want to take a quick free kick, but in practice
it just seems unnecessarily harsh. I think if something like this
happens in some of the later matches fans and players will be very
upset as it is quite a silly way to get a yellow card.

I was looking at some coverage today and heard that Trinidad is ranked
47th whilst Sweden was ranked 16th in the world. WOOT WOOT!! :) 90
minutes Nil Nil with 10 men! Woot!
