I took her point be that she took exception to any statement that *may* imply even a majority elected Mr. Bush. Her core point seems to be that despite the fact that a majority of the population voted for Mr. Gore, due to an archaic electoral college system, and not a few election irregularities, Bush was given the election due to a conceding Mr. Gore.
