I saw a big, really nice SUV (realitively new, nice paint, Rims etc..) with one of those window decals of a Calvin look alike pissing on something (usually pissing on 'Ford', 'Chevy', 'Raiders', 'Bush' or something like that. However this one just pissed me off, no pun intended.
It was a Calvin look alike schlong in hand, urinating on 'America'. If you don't like it here go somewhere else. I know this is a mixed group of folks on this list representing several nations, religions, political views etc.. and we don't always agree. I tend to believe it my patriotic duty to stand up and make my case when I disagree with my government. That doesn't mean I don't like my country. It means I love my country and want to make sure it is heading in what I believe to be the right direction. I am a huge advocate of free speech, and believe that if a soldier doesn't want to go to Iraq he should be able to make that stance, however, he should be willing to pay the price as well. I don't see him as a coward but rather a brave individual willing to stand up for what he believes to be right. He is making a political stance against what some believe to be an illegal intervention. If he wanted to get out of going to war personally he would have claimed Consciencious Objector status. Much easier. But this window decal just killed me. I was beside myself. I wanted to wait in the parking lot to see who was driving the car and ask them WTF?
