Bush has issued his first veto, killing a bill that would have helped US scientists find cures for dozens of diseases.
What a fucking hero. People will think i'm nuts, but to me, this one act of ignorance and religious zealotry overshadows every other fuck up from King Dipshit. This one veto has the potential to kill a thousand times more Americans than his disastrous foreign policy decisions. All of his other fuck ups i could mostly tolerate, but this is the end of the line. W's religious fanaticism has the potential now to directly affect the health and livelihood of myself, and the people I love.
