That's a strange threshold for life. Is the idea that the being could
survive separate from it's mother? Because that's not necessarily
true....the baby would die inside the incubator without assistance from
other people.

A human child is almost completely dependant upon others for the first
several years after it's birth. So why wouldn't life begin when they finaly
become self sufficient?

I guess I don't see why that arbitrary point when it can be removed from the
womb would represent anything special, other than a different location can
be chosen to keep the child alive.
