When gas surpassed $2 a gallon, I refinanced my big ol' F-150 supercrew and leased a Mazda 3. Gotta keep the pickup to pull my boat (which is another gas guzzler!).. but the Mazda3 makes the 50 mile round trip to work more tolerable. Unfortunately, my schedule (along with a decided lack of others with any interest) prevents me from carpooling. And god knows I'm not riding the bus around here, lest it take me 2 hours plus each way versus a consistent 35 minute drive.
