ah yes, another reason :-)
I love rain, and though it rains a lot here ("rainy" days per year) it
actually rains more in KCMO in amount of precipitation per year
for the most part the rain here is kinda like fog plus. after a while
you don't even bother with an umbrella anymore.
there are days when storms roll in and the rain can be pretty brutal,
but really in those cases it's the wind pushing the rain not the
amount of rain falling that is the problem.
