This morning we had to put one of our ferrets down. Little Spike had acute
pancreatic cancer accompanied by lymphoma. We came home from Hershey park to
find him emaciated and barely responsive, when we took him to the emergency
vet this morning, his blood sugar barely registered, the vet said that his
pancreas had stopped working. The treatment for this would've been worse
than the illness, with no guarantees that he would respond.

We made the decision to let him go. He was a happy ferret surround by people
and other animals that loved him.

Godspeed little buddy.
