Wow, that is a huge stadium for a AAA team. The Durham Bulls stadium only seats about 10,000 (the Bulls are a AAA team also). Minor league baseball is different from the majors. With the minors, you don't necessarily have ties to the players on the field - you're just there to see a game, hang out in the open air, and enjoy the entertainment - which almost always consists of more than just baseball. The big leagues is more about the baseball itself, and the players. The minors are about the atmosphere and the entertainment. Both are fun. Minor league baseball has the added advantage of being cheap :) I can go to a game on Tuesday's here for like $5 or $10, and enjoy $1 hot dogs.
