You can install it on anything. I use it with a net4801 appliance device from Soekris Engineering: www.soekris.com It is a tiny little box that uses a CF-card as the boot device. It has WAN, LAN, and DMZ ports. Works well if you need relatively low bandwidth DMZ. If you need a high-bandwidth DMZ, just use a low-end PC with 3 NICs.
