More evidence of the total failure of the UN in military conflicts. Things like the UNIFIL force make the very notion of a negotiated settlement through the UN a total farce. Nothing will be resolved until Hezbollah is wiped out as a military force. And since the UN and Lebanon are not doing squat to enforce resolution 1559, Israel is totally within its right of self-defense to take care of the problem, even if that means killing lots of innocent Lebanese civlians (again, all because of the strategy of Hezbollah to use civilians as human shields).
