If somebody really wants to drill there I don't see the problem. I
used to canvass for Clean Water Action so I'm definitely a supporter
of environmental issues, but the it'll-disturb-the-caribou argument is
ridiculous.

I live about 10 miles from MSP International Airport, just barely
outside of the "inner-loop" of the Twin Cities meto area.

A few days ago somebody greased a full grown deer across a major road
here. I've seen bucks in the woods around my house. Last year we had
a coyote problem. Coyotes! There was a pack of 12-15 that were
killing dogs and cats. 2 years ago we had a cougar problem. There
was a bear attack just north of the Twin Cities this year. Hawks
attacked a neighbor's Yorkie.

The Caribou will be fine.
