That's it. I'm swearing off news for some time. Might be a week, might be a
month but however long it is, I quit. It's not because I have a lot of work to
do. It's not because I want to avoid fights. It's not because I expect there to
be more fighting and all. I'm swearing it off because of this 'news' statement:

It "warned against hurling charges of terrorism and fascism at Muslims without
regard to the spotless history of Islamic civilization", the statement said.
spotless history? OK, I'm just going to quit cold turkey to save myself from an
aneurism. Reporting has gone from news to views to propaganda to brain damaging
bullshit and I just quit.
Tell me how wrong I am on the above story, tell me how wrong I am on any story
and I just don't care anymore. You will be more informed than I and I will be
happier for it. Ignorance is bliss and ignorance of the media is bliss to the
nth degree.
